Shihan Simon Gaunt started his Martial Arts training in the UK at the age of 7.My first training experience was Shotokan Karate and then Yawara Ryu Jiujutsu - Goshin Jutsu.Simon eventually found the Bujinkan in the mid eighties under Jerry Holmes(A student of the late Allan Collins)Simon spent 4 years with his instructor and moved to the Isle of Man where he spend 9 years.At this stage Bujinkan Isle of Man was born.Now living in New Zealand Simon owns and operates a full time Dojo dedicated to the Study of the Bujinkan and makes regular trips to Japan to further his training with Soke and then Japanese Shihan.
